My favorite quote has to be one of an unknown man as far as my knowledge goes. It is, "The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is the fear of the unknown." It's some pretty strong stuff when you really get to think about it and thus, giving off fear. That's right, the very quote it self gives off fear, imagery never seen before as far your mind cares. But it gets to you, boy does it get to you. Upon reading the sentence you get a sense of uneasiness, that escalates to paranoia and imagery of things rather left unspoken, then it escalates to fear, the oldest and strongest emotion of mankind.
