4th quarter of Technology

Technology is an 8th grade class were it is to make you smarter in the advancements of the world. In this class I learned a how to cite pictures, songs, and videos, but I  feel this class should have been more productive. This class was fun until I had to move to a different spot in the class room and some of the projects should have been explained more or more talked about. This class is a fun way to learn the how to's of computers. Although technology is boring other times it is fun do.

Sometimes going to Florida is not as easy as it seems but besides the beach and actually relaxing it takes awhile to prepare. First you have to decide on the cloths you where and are bring on the 2 week adventure. Then making the flight is pretty tough especially since I have some lazy people, not saying im not one. After that the flight is pretty relaxing but the anticipation on getting there kills me. Also getting off the plane and getting your luggage is a real task.

The curse of the pirates chest

Ten years ago, a middle aged man found a mysterious chest on a remote beach while medal detecting for coins than tourist drop. After a while he only for one dollar and thirty-five cents, but he was not expecting to see a corner of what looked like a really old box with engravings on the side of it. After days of digging in the wet sand, he finally got a good look at the box. I rather be born late when exploring the stars because technology will be so advanced it would be hard to get in a life threatening stage of the journey. It would be about as dangerous as exploring earth because they did not have medical treatment for whatever hurt them either animal or viruses. When exploring the stars there would be no animals or disease that could get you in the space shuttle, Doing it would take months away from life on Earth. You may run into some space aliens.

Summer!!!

Summer a season which it is really hot and stormy, even with the extreme heat kids are still very excited for the best time in school. Summer break is awesome because you can stay in during the day and stay out at night until 2:00 AM. it is awesome because your parents don't care what you do if you want to go to the movies really late or stay inside and have no social life and read books, that's fine to what ever floats your boat. with summer there is no endless things you cant do, the possibilities are endless.

Rewind Button

I rather have a rewind button. I would want one because you could almost predict the future, if you went back in your life you could tell somebody don't get on that plane or they might die or be injured. you could help people. Like you could have gone back and tell people at the Boston Marathon do not go because some guy is going to blow the place up. Also it could make you change your decisions and pick another one. There is no bad things that could happen with a rewind button and no people would die because of wars or terrorist.

Spooky Story 2

It was a dark spooky night Jimmy's parents aren't home because they went to a costume party, as it is a week before Halloween. Jimmy and Johnny played video games, because Johnny's parents went to the same party. As they played minutes turned into hours then finally a boom from down stairs ruined the laughter and joy turned into Straight fear. As they to turned slowly to find each others faces were scared faces, their hearts were in their mouths when Jimmy and Johnny sprinted past the basement door and directly into Jimmy's room. As he called his mom she said they were on there way to the house anyway because the party was very boring more like an office meeting than a party...

I Deserve a Day Off

I deserve a day off of school because it is almost map testing and my brain has to rest so I don't get a bad score. Another reason to day the day off is because kids should get some fresh are when it is nice outside. When it is nice outside kids just look out the window and think of what they would be doing at the time and not be focused on school work. Also kids should start thinking about there career and what future they want, that would take a whole day to think about it. If I get a bad score on my school work then I would fail school.

A Horror story

It was a dark, rainy night when two boy the age of 13 and 15 were rummaging around there parents low lighted house. they were just about to go down to the pantry and see what they could scrounge up for a snack, when all the sudden the TV went dark but it was weird because every other electrical thing in the house was working perfectly. Jason the elder boy said to Tim the younger boy " do you think it is a power surge or something?" Tim the younger boy had experience in this type of electrical failure so they went down stairs where Jason fathers work bench was and tried to turn on the power but everything look good until they found a wire that had been cut with a knife.

If I was President

If I was President I would try to make all the debt that Americas in with China and some other countries go away. I would also lower taxes( to a minimum) and only pass laws that people would like.Although it would be hard  to do that, I think the American people deserve it. Also I would put all the teams people wanted in high school. The most challenging part of it is getting elected as president.

Turkey Hunting

I am so ecstatic about turkey hunting this April, I have already spent well over $100 on turkey hunting. Although my dad knocked me off my feet(not literally)when he said you have to get all your homework caught up or you cant go.So the very next day I almost got all of my missing work turned in. After that I will never get another electronic hot sheet again! Now me and my grandpa are going shooting and getting our turkey blind set up.

Railroad

This picture reminds me of a dark snow day when everybody wants to go outside but it is way to cold. The roads are just covered in ice you cant get any where but inside your house. Although you got off school you and your brother are still really bored. The fact is that if you went outside you would get frostbite or hypothermia. Also the only thing you cant do about is stay inside your house.

Missouri Bass fishing in High School

Yesterday I saw on Facebook that Missouri was going to pass something about Bass fishing being a sport in High school and my first reaction was that awesome Festus is going to have a fishing team . Although I am a huge bass fisher I was awestruck by the team that Festus could have and it also is another sport that does not require people to have to not get tackled really hard in football or picked on because there bad at baseball.

Gas Station Robbery

Ever since the new candy factory opened down the road, there has been a lot of ill people in this little town we call Pottsburg. So I have done some research on it and things aren't adding up right, the rivers are dirtier and fish in all of the lakes around are being found dead. So me and my friends are broke as usual and we want a candy bar to do some research at the school lab. The night was finally here and we actually robbed the gas station but there is some bad news, we got caught  and after our parents bailed us out and I heard the "What are you thinking" from my dad. Call Of Duty Zombies!

Call of Duty zombies is in my opinion one of the better games there is. It actually has to take a lot of strategy to play it because you have to know where your going and what your going to do when somebody important dies. Sometimes you don't even know that your the one that is  keeping the team alive most of the time. Also it is fun because you have to communicate and listen to where the team is going. Most of the time with a really good team you can get to high levels really fast and also get a lot of money just by killing zombies.

My math teacher for some odd reason disappeared. Someone also sent letters to the kids that looks like it is written in code. But the weird thing is that the code looks like her math test. Although for some odd reason I think she is alive, and not kidnapped either. It is also weird that she just stopped teaching out of the blue. where ever she I think she alive and able to write to people. Why us though perhaps the mystery will remain.

When I will set the state record for Large mouth bass

This Spring I set a goal for myself about setting the Missouri state record for Large mouth bass. I have looked on the internet and it says that the current record is 13.28 pounds. I have found a place to go fishing and I have pulled some monsters out of there but never anything close to 13 pounds. I think it will be a challenge for myself and it will be an excuse to go fishing more often. Also I heard that Bass Pro will buy it if it does set me any type of records.

It was last year that when it happened, this is my story on how it started. I got home from school on a Friday, and that's when I got the call from my grandpa saying " Hey... do you want to go fishing down at the lake tomorrow" and I did not pass up the offer. My grandpa told me the time he was going to pick me up. That morning I got up at 3 A.M but I wasn't tired it felt good He picked me up and we headed for the lake it was very cold, and i was so excited about my catch. It was almost 8 LBS.!

Also some fish are protected and can only be eaten if the right length. So if you do not want to break any laws or maybe set a world record, I would advise you to buy yourself a tape measure. Not only for fishing they are good for many other reasons.

Black Ops 2

I am writing about a video game, one that can make you angry or very happy. Black Ops 2 is the game my favorite Call of duty game ever. It is the most intense, addicting, and fun game in the world. I am pretty good at it but, I wish I could say that about my friends. There is a lot of cheaters but you rarely see them, or some people are really good at the game. You never know how you'll do on the game but in my opinion is the best game ever!

Bottle of Memories

If I could bottle up 1 memory that I could revisit any time I wanted to it would be when my dad and I went fishing together on his bass boat. There is some thing about waking up at 4:00 AM to go fishing. When you get to the lake you unhook the boat from the trailer and tie it to the dock. finally when your out on the water doing 70 MPH, there is nothing like it. Also the fishing part was fun, that is probably what got me to be a fishing fanatic like I am today.

so this April turkey season will start, and I am really excited for it to start. I still things on my list to get before April, but its not a lot of stuff. I recently ordered a turkey call off the Bass Pro website, and it is weird how much shipping and handling was for a thing that cost $8.00 the shipping and handling was almost more than the product was.although the package only weighs .001 and can fit in an envelope they still feel the need to gouge costumers!

What is an assault rifle?

Some gun stores say that an assault rifle is a rifle that shoots fully automatic, have features like pistol grip, or a flash hider. Also some say that versions of semi-automatic are available for civilian use should be called tactical  rifle or modern sporting gun. Hunting dog

Since my dad and I are kinda lonely in are new house, we are currently looking for a basset hound puppy. So I thought about it for a long time and decided I kind of wanted a basset hound puppy. I thought of some reasons why and here they are, they are really short and fat. Also they are hunting dogs, so I could go rabbit hunting with them. But the only draw back is that there are no breeders in Missouri or its surrounding states. Its very challenging to find one close.

The reason I was gone yesterday is because I had to go and see my brother swear into the U.S Navy. We took him to Arnold Sunday night dropped him off at the recruiting office where his recruiter took him to a hotel down in St. Louis. Monday morning my dad, grandpa, and I went to go see him swear into the U.S Navy. Before that we got to see him for couple hours, then he swore in and we said good bye and he left to catch his plane that took him to the Great Lakes in Illinois. Since he has left for boot camp it has been very quiet around my house.

But this is the first time in many months I can actually say I miss him. So to fill the rest of my dad and I's heart  my dad had an idea to get any puppy I wanted. I was thinking hard about my decision but, I finally came to the conclusion that I wanted a basset hound puppy. So I looked on the internet about where some were at but, the puppies were in every state except Missouri, Illinois,Arkansas,Iowa, and Kansas. So I gave my dad a suggestion how about we wait until my birthday to see if there are any puppies closer to us he agreed.

But then I realized none of this searching would be possible if I didn't have a iPhone, computer,or a iPad. It really makes me appreciate the technology we have today. Like back when they did not have the internet you  read the paper for ads for items or puppies you want.  Also you could look at the local store or farmers market (as my grandma would call it). Some people say that they don't like computers or smartphones but, I love them.

Fishing

My favorite sport/hobby is fishing, it is the most relaxing hobby I know, especially when you catch a huge fish you been wanting to catch. Being out on the lake or beach early in the morning when the steam is protruding from the water. Also the best thing is landing a fish you've never caught before. Like when I went to Florida, I caught little baby sand sharks there skin is like sandpaper, not like most people image they would be slippery. Also knowing that there mom isn't far away.
